SEOmoz undergoes official rebrand to ‘Moz’

If you haven’t noticed already, SEOMoz has now officially rebranded itself as simply ‘Moz’.  For many people this won’t come as too much of a shock due to the http://www.moz.com hinting at a large change for quite some time, and also due to the fact that the company has been shifting focus away from being purely tailored towards the SEO practices of old.

If you’re currently a SEOMoz PRO Account subscriber then little has changed right now besides a new appearance for all of the tools you’ve been using to-date. However, what’s exciting is the new feature announced by the company called ‘Moz Analytics’ which appears to give a clear overall view of performance for all Inbound Marketing channels. You can register your interest now for participating in the Beta and be notified when it goes live.

There are a few bugs in the site at the moment to be worked out but the feedback so far from the industry appears to be largely positive. It’ll be interesting to see what the impacting on organic traffic is from the rebranding to simply ‘Moz’, and whether the change in name impacts the industry as a whole when we talk about ‘SEO’.
